Another week has passed again... Have been looking for jobs for the past one whole wk.And, I've found a job which is near my house's area here..Anyone heard of Sin Ming Industry? It is quite a old building, having renovation going on (tats y, I going to start my work at the mid of May)My job there is to help them in doing designing for their promotional goods, circulating of emails, updating of their website and abit of marketing stuffs,etc.Promotional goods --> Eg: Those siemens,samsung, blah blah blah; when they've any roadshows going on..our company will be helping them up by designing the clothings and supply the clothes to them.So.. I'll be helping them in designing the graphics + logo.*Hope its gonna be a nice environment + people to work with...*----------------------Going to renew my PDL later at any Post Office instead of the school..Weird uh.. ' you cant renew it here.. you need to go over to any post office instead' --> This is what the receptionist in SSDC told me. *Real Sian*So.. those who dun wan to waste time going to a post office or waste another $25 again.. Pls go and pass yr test and get a liscense a.s.a.p *hehe*After that, going to kel's house to visit KaiXin(kel's bro's 2 mths old doggie).A playful and cute little 'ger' indeed. Here's her pic..

Went for a swim in the morning with my dear cousin, jialing!!Weird weather today.. it is so so hot and so SUNNY. The sun was so strong that now both of my cheeks still red red. -__-After the 'sunbathing'(rather than swimming), we went to have our lunch at Bedok Burger King. Before that, we saw the actor(Huang Jian Fu) and actress('erm... forgot the name leh.. sorry...'), having a video shooting just outside a foodcentre. I think its kinda for some 'new comedy shows' ba. *shugs*--------------------------After our lunch, I went for an interview as a Dental Assistant! The pay is damn damn low..... $900 nia.. who wan to work lor...*oh.. You must be thinking?? How come I go and look for this job rather than looking for those jobs that are relevant to my study?*Erm.. I also dunno why leh.. *lol*Actually, I'm not sure of wat kind of job that I really wan.. or rather, you can say.. ' what my real interests... hai...'Tat's why.. maybe.. for now.. I just look for any job which has an 'acceptable' pay and work til I really found a job that I really interested in. *Actually.. My real dream job --> work as a Vet/Vet Assistant/Pets Groomer. hehe*----------------------------------------Really nothing to do now..Gonna wait for my dear dear mum and dad to come back from work and my dear kel to come to my place to have steamboat together.For my Bro uh..he off work too late le la..not going to wait for him. *Serve him right! Yoyo!! Im back from HK!!
Actually, I returned on the 17th April, 11.30pm.. but I need some times to prepare those photos.. so...yup.. *you know why,Im so late to create a new post!*Ok! The weather over there is really really nice!!
The weather degree --> 18 to 22 degree...
Everywhere you go; even on the streets, you just feel as though you're in an air-conditioned place. *smile*
It is indeed a shopping and eating paradise!! The things over there are much more cheaper than Singapore.
Eg: their dim sum in a restaurant costs about $10(HK$50) per person and their clothings cost about $12(HK$60). *Cheap hor*

1st Day(15th April 05)

After that, we went to this place, called 'Avenue of the stars'. This is the place where most of the HK movies shooting take place.. You can see most of the famous actresses/actors had their hand prints/signatures on the ground.
2nd Day(16th April'05)Their MTR(same as Sg's MRT). We took a train at Tsim Sha Tsui to MongKok MTR.

Finally!! Finally woke up late today! *haha*The past few days (including sat and sun) have been waking up early for some stuffs..Sat -> Need to go back to school to hand in my MCs to my LO, next went for my car lesson.Sun-> Wake up early to help cleaning up some stuffs for my mum.So, Today-> Finally! Wake up ard 12++ noon.. *hehe*Watched a disc of 'Detective Investigation 4' before meeting up kel. It is a nice show indeed. *Those who haven watch this series, could go and rent it! Highly recommended!*Met up with kel ard 3+ and went to PS(Plaza Singapura) to watch a movie 'spanglish'.About the content of the show, *I not quite sure actually* HAHA. It is 'quite' a nice show and certain parts of the show were funny.*Really funny hor* Overall, I'd give it rating of 2.5/5....So,(if you want to watch it); I suggest that, maybe you can wait for the vcd instead. (got the hint? *smile*)After the show, we went for steamboat buffet at marina bay. *Soo bloated now*Actually I ate most of the seafood(prawns) instead of the 'meats'. *like this.. I can get back the cost price ma!! hehe*------------------------Actually, nutin much today.No pics either.Sorry to bore you guys.. After this wkends ok?? After i got back from HK.. CONFIRM I'll post more pics after the trip!

Mood: Happy Cum tired!
* Think I gonna sleep after I’ve finished typing this post.*
It is the 'Last day' of ITP today!!!
After tml (as tml still need to wake up early, so today not counted. haha), I could..
->Sleep ‘abit’ later than before. *As, I also tend to sleep late even I was having my attachment. haha*
->Wake up later and later than before.
->Most importantly, don’t need to go back to the company le! * The place was so so far from my home!! Tiring leh.. Every 5 days a wk, need to wake up sooo early*
Actually, ‘My Last Day’ of ITP = ‘My Very Busy’ cum ‘Tiring’ Day.
I got to add in more images to the video, re-edit certain parts of another project, re-export the whole thing and touch up the project again to make it ‘Mei Mei’ *haha*
I was so busy that I didn’t get the time to surf the net!! >_<

Had a short ‘talking and drinking’ session with my supervisor and Lydia.
They talked about their past; what they’ve gone through when they first stepped into a working society, told me what kind of stuff you need to do to be able to ‘keep your rice bowl’, etc etc.
They asked what I gonna be doing after this attachment and suddenly, my supervisor asked me this:
‘Do you want to work as a GM?’
I was like: ‘UH? GM??’ General Manager??
At that moment, I feel like laughing out loud. * HAHA. You so ‘kan de qi wo ar’ *
They told me about the job scope of a GM. Now that I realized that a GM needs to do a lot/most of the things; in actual, ‘EVERYTHING’
You need to present your products to both clients and staffs; acting like a ‘communication bridge’ btw your boss and staffs; ensures that the system of the company works well; does some marketing/sales stuffs, etc.
After what they have said,
I was: ‘WAH? So many things to do ar? I think, I’ll ‘GONE MAD’ instead,’ *HAHA*I think the best job; is to sit on the sofa at home and wait for money to drop down! * Good idea hor?? hehe*

Just came back from my driving practical lesson and tomolo gonna wake up early for a briefing in school, after tat I still need to go for another car lesson in the evening, and another lesson on the following day.
* Have the feeling of canceling it* BUT cant..
1) Don’t want to waste my money, as…
It’ll still deduct the amount of money even though you din attend for tat practical. It ‘ll not, only if you’ve cancelled the lessons within 3 working days.
2) Don’t want to waste my time.
(Just checked the slot) I think the nearest ‘empty slot’ is on the 9th May.
* Need to wait for nearly a month sia.Aiyo.*
So, these are the disadvantages of taking car lessons in a School..Hai…

Finished my ‘Thank you Note’ for my ‘DEAR’ supervisor, yesterday…
But clumsy me!
After I’ve finished writing on the card, I re-checked and found out that I’ve forgotten to add in another sentence.
So, I tried to squeeze it into the ‘tiny’ space (which I thought it was spacious enough for another sentence).
But, in the end, I nearly spoilt the whole card. It looked damn ‘crowded’ with words squeezing in the middle and plus my ‘stupid’ handwriting, it looked more worse! *ARR!! *
*To save money + too lazy to buy * I just don’t wan to buy another card.
So, I printed out a piece of ‘colored paper’, pasted it onto the card to set as the background color and re-write the whole thing again. *Haha. Clever anot? *
But I think my supervisor will know the reason why I pasted a colored paper there! * HAHA! It is too obvious le!!*

In the office now, (still left about 1½ days of work), after that, it is the end of my ITP attachment!! *Happy happy*
Erm.. Don't get the wrong idea that: my company = hell; and I really so desperate to go off and stopped working here. Actually, it is not that bad la.. *hehe*
It is quite a nice/carefree working environment (they don’t bother where you go even though you disappeared for 2-3 hrs), nice people (they’re friendly as I said).
But, it is too boring…
Firstly,
Most people working here are not around my age, (they’re mostly 30+ to 50) so we don't really talk much. (They’re abit too serious in their work, don't dare to talk to them)
Secondly,
Very seldom that someone or even my supervisor will come and ask about my progress. ‘How’s it’s going? Blah blah blah.’
Instead, I’m the one who approached my supervisor and tell him that ‘I’ve finished my stuff. Erm.. So, is there anything more for me to do??’ *haha*
Ok, Maybe, I’m just an intern working here so, to them, I’m just ‘nothing’ or rather my ‘work’ to them is nothing. * I not even sure if they’ll used my finished work for their presentation. * ^^
Thirdly,
->It is so tiring that I need to wake up at 6.30 in the morning for 5 days in a wk.
->So, after this Thursday (Friday in actual), I did not need to wake up so early le! *lol*
Lastly, I’m happy because I am going to Hong Kong for holiday after my internship! *Yeah! Hehe*
*Anyone wanna get something from there; tell mi hor? But cannot be things that are SOO ex la.. Budget! LOL*

Again?? Not again??
Hai...
Ya.. I still haven got my pay for the last mth.
I’m still wondering..
It is such a big company..
(Ya.. The people here are MOSTLY friendly and helpful), but the systems here doesn't work that well. Especially, the finance systems! It sucks!
It goes like this:
*We need to fill up a form on our whereabouts (what time you arrived/off-work) everyday.
*Next, on the 13th of every mth, we need to hand this form to our supervisors and then they’ll pass it to the finance department.
*Then, we still need to wait for another two more wks for our pay cheque.
The problems now…
*2 wks have passed, but we still haven got our pay.
*I asked about it and I was told that the finance department occurred some problems and closed down our accounts (I don't know what these mean)
*NOW! We still need to wait for another 2 more wks.
I’m so so broke now + really irritated by the stupid systems here.
(I, myself doesn't even know how come I always complained that I’m broke, blah blah blah)
But it's the fact.
I’m really broke. *lol*
(So…any part-time jobs to intro??) *hehe*
Ps: Sorry for my nagging.. I just irritated by it! Cos, it doesn't just happened only ONCE.

A LAME riddle(haha. I'm nothing better to do):
Once, there were these 3 little pigs. They are named as Melvin, Kelvin and Marvin. The three of them were walking in a DENSE forest (full of trees/insects/etc).
They were walking in a straight line.
Melvin was walking on the left
Kelvin was in the middle and Marvin was on the right.
After walking for about 20mins, they saw a very tall and thick tree from far.When they reached the tree, they stopped.
This tree was then,just in between of Melvin and Kelvin...So.. from Kelvin and Marvin's pt of view; both of them could not see Melvin as he is blocked by the tree.
BUT..
Marvin said that, ‘I still can see him from here ma..You cannot meh??’
Kelvin said: ‘Uh?? You can see him?? I cannot leh.. He is behind this tree, how can you see him??’
So.. Do you guys know why? How could Marvin see Melvin even Melvin was blocked by the tree???(Those who already know the actual answer, DON'T SAY hor!!)

My schedule for the day-> Eating + Snacking + Slacking!! *lol*
First, I woke up around 11+ and Kel accompanied me for ‘lunch + breakfast’.
I have ordered one plate of 2 Vegs + 1 meat + rice *Finished about ¾ of it* .
After that, Kel needs to go off to do some preparations for his full-time job *which he is going to start on Monday. *
So.. I just slacked and ‘stuffed’ myself with ‘Potato Chips + Peanuts’ while watching the show on ‘Detectives Investigation Files 4’(VCD).
I was damn lazy and tired that my butt was just like telling me: ‘Pls.. I’m very tired…I don’t want to stand up pls..pls..’
So, I granted its wish and let it stuck on the sofa for the next 5 hrs.
*Haha. Can you imagine tat?? I am just like a pig*

In the evening, I was supposed to meet up with Cecilia to go for a fashion show but my mum wanted me to get the air-tickets for the HK trip and then to my grandma’s house to have a small ‘gathering’ with my relatives. *Sorry ger, I can’t go with you*
Later at my grandma’s house, I found out that the ‘gathering’ was actually an adult discussion section (regarding my uncle), which I don’t think I need to be involved. * I was like -__-, ask me to come here for wat??*
So, to cure my boredom, I started to eat again. *HAHA*
->My grandma’s Curry (*It still tastes as delicious as last time. Yum Yum! *) + Veg + ‘abit’ of rice.

Around 10++, I met up with kel again and went for supper at geylang! *Eat again! *
We walked from Geylang Lorong 40 to Lorong 7 just for the food at ‘You Tiao Da Wang’
I had: ‘You Tiao’ + 1 bowl of beancurd and Kel had: ‘You Tiao’ + 1 glass of soya bean + Taiwan’s ‘mian xian’ (which it doesn’t taste as nice as ppl have described it)
Next, we went for ‘DURIAN!!’
Ya. This is the final dish I had. *Hehe*

While on our way back, we saw one guy (Bangladesh), doing his small business at the back of the bushes. I was like * OMG*, doesn’t he feel paiseh or wat? There’s so many people gathered around there and it was so obvious for people to notice what he was doing lor... *Aiyo*
