Beware! Long post over here. I apologized to those who find that they're reading a boring blog and dozed off after reading or to those who dozed off after reading just half of the post. Im sorry!
Times fly really fast when you're not working and esp, you're having fun for all these days.
Just came back from my long weekend 'offs'; took a half-day off (last Friday) and a day yesterday.
Feel so shiok resting and spending those days with my parents and kel.
Friday.
Took an afternoon off and met up with kel for a swim. ' He's off on tat day too.'
After our swim, we went to Parkway parade to have our lunch and shop over there.
Kel wanted to get some pants for himself, thus we roamed around hunting for nice and reasonable-price pants.
Stopped over at TopShop(newly-opened branch) and saw promotions for certain items.
Kel tried some and actually wanted to get the pants over there; but I found that the shop is rather small and of cos, the range of the clothing is quite limited.
That's why, I suggested going over to Orchard TopShop instead (im sure there're more variety than PP's branch right?). Better still, we might find a nicer and prettier one? Haha.
Went over to Orchard and there's of cos more variety; but we got the same pants that we saw over at PP. Duhzz.
Strolled around Orchard area before meeting my parents for dinner.
Got kel a blazer for his Christmas gift over at Far East plaza(POA)
*This is the way to save my brain from thinking hard and at least got something that he really wanted. Erm.. it seems like no-surprise for him le right?*
Tat's why, I gonna to prepare another present which will be giving him on the actual day. HAHA. Gingerbread man cookies!!heee
My mum decided to eat something 'FULL-Filling' and decided to go over to No-Signboard restaurant. *So sinful... Ate a lot tat nite.But,who can resist the curry-crabs over there, right??haha.*
Saturday
Went for a swim in the morning and rest in the afternoon.
Waited for Kel to off-work and went to Marina Square - having a midnight crazy sales til 1am tat day.
Wanted to catch a show - the descent but couldn't get the good seats - only left the 1st front row.
No choice, we went shopping (again) after our dinner.
There was this particular salegirl (heck care attitude); I was real pissed off of her behaviour.
-Asked her about the size, she said 'WAIT'
-Other customers called her, she ignored.
-No 'smiling' face and you can sense that she does not have the mood to save customers.
When I was paying for my item, She even said this to her colleague; 'these people uh. So late liao still dun wan to go home.Still shop here n there.'
I was like.. 'Eh! We helped you to boost up your sales leh. If not, your boss will give you 'salted fish' instead of money liao lor!'
In reverse, the boss is nice and helpful lady. I should have told the boss about her staff's 'GOOD' attitude hor! >.< Sunday
A queuing cum waiting day.
Went over to kel's working place to queue for something; a special promo for that day.
Stuff like:
'......, you can get a LG DVD player for just $50!'
'......,you can get a Ipod Nano for just $100!'
'......,you can get a 128MB creative mp3player or webcam for just $1!'
Met up with kel's brother and his gf before the queuing. *Funny & cute couple*
We reached around 10 and the sales start at 2pm.
We are not consider the 'early-birds' and 'kiasu' group.. We heard that, some people actually arrived at 8 for this promo. *Pro sia.*
Throughout these 4-5hrs, I was yawning non-stopped and tearing.
Me and his gf even laughed at ourselves that we're getting our retribution; for 'laughing at those people who wake up so early to queue for those cheap-skate things.'
She even turned away when she saw someone familiar. HAHA.
Ipod Nano is our aim! (More worth it right? You can even get some profit if you'll to sell it.hee.) But it's all snatched away by other 'early-birds'...
Not to waste our 4-hours queuing, we purchased the $1 creative mp3player instead. *At least, we got something. LOL.*
Sunday's night cum Monday
Spent a night over at kel's place on Sunday and went swimming again! on the following day. haha.
Went to causeway point for the movie (The Descent), which we missed last sat.
The storyline is about the same as The Cave, but I found that it's more exciting, more unexpected movements, and more gruesome parts. Haha. An awesome show! *Thumb-up!*
Went to autocad lesson after that.
More and more difficult stuffs to learn but I like it! LOL.
This is how i spend my days-off... Everything happens and ends so fast.. Sian!
