Yesterday was not a good day for me and my dear boy..
Shall not elaborate further on that then..Despite of that; the night turned out well & much more better! :D
My dear boy brought me to this french restaurant over at Kallang to celebrate our 1 year anniversary - which is actually an advance celebration
(Our special-day is on the 14th).We're their first customers to reach and actually felt abit "weird" when 3 servers greeted us from the moment we stepped into the place. Haha.
I love the oldies-type of deco/furnitures & the dim orangy-lights together with the lovely french music playing at the background
(Not really sure of this but a french restaurant should play french music ba?hee.) made it a perfect place to chill out & indulge yourself with the nice food or maybe a glass of wine.. :)
"LE BISTROT"Once again, I really love the dim-dim-lightings ambience. HAHA.
Our Entree dishes-His-
Hmm.. Chicken's liver + Garlic + Mayo with french-loaf.
I only tasted Garlic + Mayo with the bread as the words "Chicken's liver" could already make me feel like puking even without a single taste of it! *Ewww*
The portion is huge that we din manage to finish it. The waiter even suggested to pack it back home if we wanted to..but we rejected his kindness. "I dont think both of our families will
sandwiched their breads with chicken's liver as well.keke"
-Mine-
This is nice. Guessed what's on the top of the soup?
Its cheese with bread! Initally, it seemed quite
'erm.. with a bread in a soup?' But surprisingly, it turned out nice and yummy! :)
Our main course-His-
Highly recommended to try out this dish if you're quite sick of eating pork, salmon or some fried stuffs. It was so delicious that he
(he dont really like DUCK-MEAT) finished up the whole thing! HAHA!
Duckleg with mashed potato-Mine-
Special dish for the night: Half-cooked Salmon with asparagus & the tasty creamy sauce.
Only the top & bottom of the salmon is cooked, leaving raw in the middle = half-cooked. :) Lastly, the
Dessert for the night.
Hot dark chocolate milk & a small slice of cake & biscuits with chocolate fillings & chocolate ice cream
(this ice cream is not Marigold or ben&jerry types. It's added with abit of chocolate chips and some icey-things) which is really VERY NICE! I forgot to ask if they sell it in a tub or something. Hee!
Peektures of us!
"Thanks my dear, for this lovely meal!" :D---
A gift from him for this anniversary.
"I love it!" :)
I'm not that rich
(haha); so I got a Polo-Ralph Shirt
(the one, he wore in the above pics) as well as a
'planner or rather a book calendar' which records on the stuffs of what we've done together. :)
"Hope you love the presents.." :)
