Heyyo! Im back from Genting!
Actually, I already back to work on Tuesday. However, due to busy @ work(which drained away most of my brain cells) and lack of sleep while in Genting; had transformed me to a lazy piggy for these few days.Hee.

Ok.. since I've already regained some energy, I shall update on our outing for last Saturday. haha.
My dear boy managed to get a free entry cardpass from his company so.. off we went to the Bird Park!
The cool weather(no rain)somehow prevent us from perspiring & we thought that its an excellent weather for us to venture this place. However to our dismay, the 'cool weather' started to drizzle within a min after we stepped into the counter area. Duhz.
Luckily the drizzling was a short one, else it definitely bring down our level of happiness.

Throughout this trip, the most memorable as well as gave me a shock of my life part; was the feeding session..
Ok, I shall elaborate more on this 'exciting' moment..
The feeding titbit was actually a cup of drink(some milky stuff). So after I got it, I then happily telling my dear boy that Im going over to the prettier one to feed it. But guess what? Before I could actually turned around and move another step, 2 of the birds suddenly flew from 'dunno-where' and landed on my cup! NEXT, followed by a superb-shocking impact! A 3rd comer suddenly landed on my shoulder!! I was then screaming like nobody business. -_-

Can you imagine, a bird crawling from your shoulder to your arm next to your hand and ended at the edge of the cup?! *That eww feeling??* I kept yelling and even shouted at my boy for help. But he's busy laughing and snapping away my 'funny reactions' -_- BEST.

These are the ones which I mentioned earlier. The ones who didnt give me any 'signals' that they're coming for the drink! Duhz.

Look at my messy hair which proved that I just ended a 'war' a min ago.
Whereas, he looked like he's having a nice time with them. -___-

Anyway, it was a fun trip. :)

Later in the evening, we met up with Val & Brian for the Korea-Theme Fireworks @ Esplanade. Well, I thought their designs for the firework didnt produce any "Wah" effects – no special shapes or something & there're only 2-3 short performances on stage before the fireworks start.
So the conclusion is.. It's enough to view the fireworks by standing afar at Marina Square/Fullerton Hotel next time. *Save money too*

We ended the day with a midnight movie "Death Race".
You wont feel bored throughout this show. Good.

(This explained why, Im still up at 5am to blog on my previous post. I stayed awake throughout the whole night man.)

The dress which I've been awaiting for.. was gone!!
Look, 1/4 of the envelope was tore away and this left-over was found dangling out of the letter box!

You know, I am so so broke that this is my only dress or I can say the only clothing which I purchased for this month! Thou this dress cost about 24bucks(which dont really cost much) but becos im a 'brokey'; 24bucks eventually meant alot to me.

CURSE THAT CHEAPO STEALER WHO STOLE MY CHEAPO BUT LOVELY DRESS!ARGH!!

Whether its a conversation or even when you're just out of concern and asked "Did you save money this month?" will somehow lead to misunderstanding and ended up - QUARREL. Well, true enough; anything involved with the word "Money" tends to hurt one or even both parties.

Will we be able to solve this problem?
- By dun care too much?
- By dun ask too much? or better still..
- By replacing the word "Money" to "Love" instead?
Eg: "Did you save LOVE this month?" "How much LOVE you left?" "When are you going to give the rest of the LOVE to me?"

Hmmm.. Sound better? Hee.

14th is the day!
Happy 1yr & 1mth anniversary my dear!

It was a delectable Japanese BBQ dinner last night! SLURPS~~
Was initially deciding between Korean or Japanese BBQ, as it was our baby time tasting these 2 cuisines. At the end of the dinner, both of us stepped out of the restaurant with a big smile planted on our faces & feeling-free from smoky smell; which proved that we've made the right choice. Hee!
We tried all meats other than deer & beef(we're faithful to our god hor! haha.) We did some research beforehand & knew that beef is the main dish for all korean&Japanese bbq; thus it was no-surprise when we saw much fewer varieties of other meats on the menu.

Ok, Let the peektures do the rest of the talkings.

Chijmes; indeed is a nice place to dine & chill at.

Welcome to the restaurant!

Comfortably, seated at a secluded dining area..

We ordered one cooked dish other than raw meats/vegs. Which was, seafood pancake & it tasted so-so only.

Well...
Let's start BBQ-ing!!!

Chjimes turned romantic at night *Lovely*

*Thanks my dear boy, for the wonderful dinner~*

He got me this cute pen which helped to make my desk look more "vibrant"! HAHA.

And not forgetting, Happy Belated 23rd Birthday to my Christine dear. Welcome to our 23 years-old group! Hee

Ktv-pubbing with my dear & his frens on last saturday.
Kinda reluctant to get out of the house & ktv-pub is not a place which I wish to go..
*I dont sing too*

Luckily, his crazy bunch of frens made all sorts of 'funny & nuisance behaviours' & that changed my grumpy face to a smiley one! haha.

--

It's supposed to be a shopping treat for both Val & me on Sunday.
Too bad; all types of dresses, tops, shorts & any other stuffs dont fancy us. Thus, both of us ended the day with just 2 tops - one for her boy & one for mine. Hmmm...
So, who says "we gers have been spending too much on our own clothes & accessories? uh?!"

*Wink wink!*
Its our 1 year & 1 month anniversary this thursdaY!

A simple & nice dinner will do, for this month.. :D

Well, my 'Da Yi Ma' really gave me a visit on saturday night(as predicted). and caused me to feel so tired & lethargic. Given no choice; I took my Sunday as a resting day..

Val finally uploaded our Batam trip! Hee.
(My camera was stolen during the trip! Partly blame on my dear boy for not buttoned-up his side pocket & dangling-camera strap had somehow attracted the pickpocket. -_-)
Anyway, its the fact that my lovely pink camera has already gone and no point retrospect the unhappy moments now..
I guessed, we'll never go back to Batam again (for holiday). And, the beach really sucks big-time. Booooo!

Batam trip (26thJuly-27thJuly)
Golden Prawn, seafood restaurant.

We had a disppointing dinner over there.
Not only that the food was not fresh, we even saw a waitress throwing all the leftovers into the river(which we can see big fishes swimming here and there) Erm.. what if those fishes that the restaurant served, are caught from this river...? *Ewww!*

We tried Go-Kart the next day. It was fun but I was worried that it'll break into half while I was driving. Dont you think that, this thing looked fragile?

Next, we tried Archery. While the person-in-charge was leading the way to a suitable place for this game, me and val were already cursing non-stop. "An archery session in a forest!!!" which is equivalent to "feeding mosquito session" lor! DUHZZZ

Me, being an extra here while the guy was teaching my dear boy some basic stuffs.

His first try.

Our turns..

I realised that my standing posture was really weird..

Im giving up! My hands went red after 2-3 tries. Duhz.

A group photo before leaving the resort.
Luckily I've good companies throughout this trip; if not I'll be bored to death. Haha!

And this joker of mine, had somehow add laughter to this trip. Hee.
