Hohoho! Had fun on Christmas, everyone?
Or same as me, tired as well?

My dear boy and frens had a christmas eve bbq at ECP and we played till 4+ in the morning and only reached home near to 7. I only slept for 5 hours? So Im still tired today. Anyway, I enjoyed the bbq-ing still (excluding the drizzling part). :)

Up next, will be New Year Chalet cum Beach party with my lovely gfs & partners at Sentosa! *Awaiting*

--

Its our off-day on the eve thus we've an early Christmas celebration on the 23rd.
Tasty 933 curry chicken, fried bee hoon, fried rice and gift exchange for the party. For this year's gift exchange, I got a cute 'snowman-type cushion'. Hee!

And a newly froggy to accompany my little giraffe. :)

Another advanced celebration in the evening. Coincidentally, my mum's birthday is on the eve of Christmas too. We then brought her to this famous Teochew cuisine at Amoy Street - Teochew Restaurant Huat Kee. We've a hard time finding this place but luckily, the food was good enough to forgo this part. The owner (I think so) knew that it was our first time to this restaurant thus he recommended some commonly-ordered by other diners and their signature dishes as well. My mum and even my grandma (she's abit picky on food) were satisfied with the food. I simply, love their yam paste with gingko nuts. Nice! And surprisingly, the bill for that night can consider as not expensive for the type of good quality food we had.

My youngest cousin(Brian), grandma, my birthday lady(Mummy) & me.
My brother missed it as he got to work.

With my dad and my dear boy. Thanks to my dear boy who drove us there. :)

Bbq-ing with the guys on the eve. Im the one & only woman, for that night. :(

Rain rain rain, please go away...

To avoid getting more rain & the guys need the umbrella to "shelter" those bbq food. So left with no choice, I got a plastic bag and they commented that I was wearing a showercap. -_-
(Anyway it does look like one. keke)

I told them that guys look absolutely stunning when they're 100% concentrating on doing something. So, they looked really SERIOUS here. Suave not? LOL.

This super-hot chilli fish fillet is the 'best' dish of the night. Becos its really super HOT! (Look at the amount of chillies?!)

---

Went to Vivo and catch Yes Man! movie. Personally, I don't find it nice.
After the movie, we went over to Keppel Bay. Initially, its Mount Faber Park that we wanted to go but we lost our way.. so I suggested Keppel Bay instead. But who knows, we got to pay for the carpark (we just wanna explore abit and ciao, so we find it rather expensive). The parking charge is $3 per entry! If you dine there, the rate is of cos reasonable but if you're there just for some look-around & some exploring.. its rather not worth it.
Why din they provide a free entry carpark for those coming after 12am or something? Hmmzzzz.

Anyway, its quite a nice place for frens-chattering or couple-romantic. But becos of the parking thing & with my dear boy's black-face; spoiled the mood totally. -_-

Anyway, he's forcing himself to smile. This is the 3rd try & I can say this is the BEST liao. *I shall name him BLACKY HWA. BOX HIM!*

Read a book and I find that this part of the content; sounded quite true.. and rather interesting.

In the men's world.. they always wonders:
1)Why do women talks so much?
2)Why do women always want to talk about their problems?
3)Why do women exaggerate?
4)Why do women never seem to get to the point?
5)Why do women always want to know all the little details?

Women, on the other hand always ask themselves:
1)Why are men so direct?
2)Why do you always have to drag everything out of men?
3)Why are men so often silent? (Yea, why uh?)
4)Why do men never want to know any details?
5)Why do men always give unsolicited advice?

From the above, there's tones of reasons for each behavior. But if either of us bear the following rules in mind, nothing(or at least not much) should hinder smooth communication btw you and the partner.

For Women to keep in mind:
- Keep everything as simple as possible
- Never talk about more than 1 thing at a time.
- Use short, clear sentences and limit yourself to the essentials
- Use direct talks; say exactly what you want
- Do not interrupt him when he speaks
- Inform him what you would like to talk about, or if you want to discuss a serious problem!
- And lastly (which is the point, I SURELY KEEP IN MIND! LOL) Never stay silent in order to punish him! Men love silent: its a bonus.

For Men to keep in mind: (Please men... KEEP IN MIND AR!)
We, ladies will try their best to control their tempers but you guys, on the other hand, must do your part as well. Understand? hee

- Simply listen! Make typical sounds and use facial expressions.
(Yes! Dont look like a stone)
- Refrain from offering solutions
(Not really true eh.. Hmmzz, sometimes we gers like to hear some advice. Sometimes la..)
- Express your wishes indirectly and always say “PLEASE”!
(Ya, respect us. LOL)
- Its not the contents of what you say that count but your interest in her conversations
(Yes, very true..)
- Never tell her that she dramatizes things and don't correct her in front of others.
(We need to save "some faces" too. :) )
- Always give her more details than you would to a man
(This is damn true.)

Any books on that? Hmmz...

Anyway we talked and things sorta settled.
Hope our bonding will be closer & stronger after this arguement :)

Met up with 4 lovely girls on my friday night. It was a dinner cum catching-up session cum advance christmas celebration. Hee.
We had our dinner at Vivo first, and then off to Villa Bali. A place with nice ambience & definitely a place for we gers, to have a night-out chitchatting gossipy session. It was a night with laughters & the sentence of the night was - "Those were the days". We talked about our life now, our future as well as the past.. And the more we dug out the past, the funnier it became. Example, we actually had a group name - Sailormoon! Oh my.. but I forgot which sailor am I? LOL.

"Those were the days" when we have no worries, naive and innocent. :)

(From left: Lishan, Shih Pheng, Stephanie, Kristine, Me)

Thanks to Shih Pheng who brought us to Villa Bali & a big hug to her for driving us home!! And not forgetting; another hug to our 开心果 Stephanie who brought us laughters throughout the night! :D

Gers, meet up soon! :)

Last Saturday’s gathering with the poly mates was good.
Its been quite awhile we met up, and I think (for me) it was more than 2years plus or 3yrs plus? *WA, times really zoomed off so fast!*
It was good to know that everyone is doing well in their life :)
We went settlers that night and till then, I realized that Im such a handicapped in the Taboo game. I was panicking when it was my turn and my brain just totally went blank. “Boo me!”
The rest continued with the next game Twister and I got to go off after then.

Anyway, the movie Twilight was great (at least applied to me and my dear boy) As I saw some comments on forum that some of them (mostly are those readers who read before the storybook) thought that the movie was not that great and it’s a little feeling disappointed. So.. warning here! To those readers who haven gone for this show, please don't place such a high hope on this show first, so you wont end up disappointed. Keke.

But the disappointed-readers did added on that they would still go to the theatre for the 2nd part.

--

Im glad that my dear boy’s sis is feeling better now and might be able to discharge early if her condition is good.
Hm.. Recalling back the scene on the day of her operation, my heart will still hurt. I saw worry faces and tears from the mother when she saw her daughter crying after the surgery (becos of the pain from the wound). The father and bro din cry (but I knew they’re holding back) and I knew the inner them, felt hurt as well…
Thou it’s a minor operation but I think that this is already enough torturing for a 15 years old girl. Such a young age to go under the knife, and I think if it was me, I’ll not be that strong like her. She still can joke after few hours of the surgery. Haha.
It was then; I saw looks of relief from her parents and my dear boy.

:D

Anyway, unhappiness ended and happy moments come!
Its Christmas and a brand new year coming soon!
Not really sure if it’s going to be a ‘Good Year Ahead’. But lets don’t care! Lets enjoy first! HAHA.

Oh my, I've a tumor in my head! Ok, Choy.

Flu and sore throat visited me yesterday. If their friend 'Headache' came as well, I'll definitely get some 'killer' to destroy it man! -_-

Replenished my beauty sleep by having 4 hours of afternoon nap today. Had a 25mins of exercise; bathed my dog and here am I to start my blogging.

Did I mention that I actually had my hair rebonded over at Muar (during my senior's wedding) which was abt 2months+ ago? However, the result din turn out quite well and caused my hair to become dry and frizzy. I cant let my hair to look so ugly anymore, so again, (after seeking advice from the hairdresser) I went for another rebonding last saturday. I can say, he did a gd job at the end of the day. My hair split ends are all 'chopped' away and at least my hair looks much better than before. Most importantly, I do not need to blow dry my hair after each hair wash again. Save time & energy man. haha.

Went dbl-oing with my dear boy's frens that night. Val and bf joined us as well. With Val, I wont be that bored already (becos I'll have kaki to dance with me!) That night was kinda crazy, other than things before I got home & I rem that val was talking non stop from dbl-o to my home (funny her) & my dear boy vomited at my void deck.. I dun rem a single thing after then. Like how I managed to bath, changed to home clothes, on the fan & switched off the lights before I slept. I dont rem at all.
My dear boy even took an urgent day off for the next day. *Boooo to him! Haha.*

Me and dear Val!
(How come my fringe look so funny tat night uh! !@%#$%#!!)

Val and Brian.

Me and my dear boy.

Drink drink drink. Before this waterfall, val and me each already had 3 tequila shots. So with the combination with some beers as well, the giddiness came after we stopped dancing. And which explained why, I had a bad hangover & Val was able to talk non-stop throughout our journey home. Keke.
Luckily, Brian need to drive so he's the only person with a super clean mind that night.

They had Fallen Lambo.

Next is the Blue mountain.

This type of night can only happened occasionally. we're too old to tahan oftenly. Haha.

--

We still looked quite fresh on the next day hor? HAHA.
Actually, I still having a bad headache but not to waste the time spending at home, we decided to drag ourselves out for some shopping and movie at night.
Its a hilarious and cute movie - Bolt. :)

Now then I realised that he wore back the same top. Hmmzz.
Luckily, I dun smell any 'unpleasant odour' throughout the day.hee

We spent this day visiting city chains, timeclubs & earlier day; we went to mustafa centre as well for the sake of finding a watch which I really lurve. And finally I got 'the one' over at Prestige time - Bras Basah. Was told that this design for this brand is the latest which is why we din manage to see it in other places. At first I was thinking of having a watch with white strap but after spotting this, & somemore it's my fav brand... I decided to get this instead. :)

I love this christmas pressie. Thanks dear!

Oh ya, I think this shop gives a good offer for their watches. Recommended in some forums as well. Example, the white watch which I wish to get earlier cost about $385 in other places but they managed to give you a price of $308 (of cos with some 'after effect of bargaining' you'll then able to get this rate). So its no harm checking out this place if you wanna a watch. :)

Free advertising for them eh! Haha.
