Yesterday run which organized by my dear boy's company was fun. Im proud of myself that I got in 4th (for the woman category)! Thou, its only 12-13 ladies participants? but I still happy with the results la. hee!
Usually I jogged in the evening or the night as the weather was much more cooling compared to an afternoon run. No wonder I felt giddy after the run yesterday. Luckily, I din collapse, if not ma luuu leh.... -_-

We din wait for the lucky draw part. We just took their goodies bag - which only consist of 2 buns, 1 cupcake, 1 apple + 1 GSK logo towel & back home to wash up :)

Met up with val and brian to RedDot Brewhouse at Dempsey. The ambience was nice and romantic. With 2 singers singing(thou their voice kinda loud? and we need to SHOUT while talking to each other ) and we even got to play Bingo! But too bad, 4 of us didnt have the luck to win. Duhz.
Beside the nice company and ambience for the night, we even saw special guests! The Toads! Total, we saw 2.
And 1 of them even jumped onto Brian's foot which made he jumped alittle. haha!
We asked the waiters to help to chase them away but he said that it's common to see toads jumping around (maybe the place is up at a hill?) so even he managed to chase away 1, another 1 will still appear. Hmm...
My first time to see toads jumping around at an open restaurant. haha.

Anyway, Blur me brought out the camera but without the memory card. -_-
So, I shall wait for dearie Val to upload the photos. (which might take a while to see the photos being uploaded.. haha!)

I could say, my dear boy was quite hardworking yesterday. Thou he could sleep till late noon or even till 5pm and wait till I off work, but he din. He woke up early and the first thing he did (of cos after he brushed his teeths, pee or after his ‘business’ in the toilet) was to on the computer and search for a nice dinning place for the night.
It was our 21st month together. :)

Hopefully, I am right that the first website he went to is “hungrygowhere”/ “yum.sg” and not “hardwarezone” or “geclub” -_-

Anyway, Im already happy that he took the effort to search for nice place for our date. Hee. You know, ever since the borne of his car; (Ok, I shall complain here alittle) the car becomes his wife! -_- He needs to save more money to feed ‘her’ leh. So as compared with the past, we had reduced on having good food (sometimes, good foods with good ambience are costly eh.), save the money for his 'wife' & partly we're also on diet now. So.. I thought we would be having something simple for this month & keep the expensive one on our 2yrs anniversary instead.

So, Im touched la. Hee.

For the sake of good food & his effort, I shall also forgive him for not sending me a Happy Anniversary msg this time. LOL.

The dinner was at Hibiki Japanese restaurant, which located at Cuppage.
We’re totally satisfied with the food and all the food we ordered are fresh and hot! You know, some restaurant & especially if it was in buffet-style which customers could eat all they can. They will tend to set aside of maintaining good service, good attitude, cleanliness of the place & because they need to serve food in a rush, the food might turn cold. Luckily, such thing did not happen in this restaurant. The waitresses are polite & they explained clearly to us if we did not understand the dish-names, etc.
The restaurant is separated in 3 parts - One chef will be in the kitchen, cooking those fried food. Another will be in the indoor, preparing sashimi, etc. And the other will be at the outdoor, bbqing. So if you are seated indoor, you wont get the bbq smell. Which is GOOD! I hate to have those smell staining onto my clothes or hair.
They even changed our plates while dining. (Like, we are having wedding dinner.lol).

The buffet includes fresh sashimi/tuna. You know I don’t eat sashimi and this time I tried 2 slices of tuna + salmon sushi. It tasted fresh and no stinky smell. Hee. And others like; their tender grilled chicken wings, chicken meatballs & especially their tomato grilled pork belly & pork belly with asparagus! (Must try!) as well as soft shell crab maki, soft shell crab temaki, their tofus, chicken+vegs hotpot & slightly-sour dessert (which I think Val would love it.lol), etc etc.

The ala carte buffet dinner cost us $68 for 2. Which I thought the price is reasonable for such a heavenly nice food!

Ok, let me show you the evidence. The yummy nice food. :)
Its been quite a time, I post a food post.. lol.

While waiting for the food.
We got the indoor seat & I think in order to get the indoor seat, you need to make an early reservation.

They have nice utensils. Maybe we could have one of those for our new house? hee

Yea! Finally, the food arrived!
They served the food one by one, so you wont be that eager to swallow all the food down at one go. lol.

Hibiki Salad. Taste good but maybe better if they reduced the amount of sauce. Slightly salty eh..

Tofuu~~

Soft Shell Crab Maki & Temaki!

Salmon sushi..

He's happy with the food!

And, Im busy with mine. hee.

Assorted Mushroom Tempura & Prawn Tempura

Oh my, this is the sinful dinner. But we dont care for that moment! LOL.
(Tonight, we are back to the same routine. Jog again. Duhz.)

Continued.. The Grilled Items!!
Yakitori, Mushrooms, Pork Belly with Asparagus, Tomato with Pork Belly.

The most left side is Tofu.. something special?

Tasty chicken wings! It tasted as good as without any chilli or any other sauce! haha.

This is something new to us too. It's the chicken soft bones.
I so happily swallowed and ate the bones. But my dear boy said it's not edible?! >.<

He spit out the bones and only ate those.. er, flour?
Anyway, I think Im right? The bones are edible right? Hmm...

Prawn sushi rolls

Our last order before the dessert!
Hot and yummy hotpot!

The only dessert - Lime jelly with ice

He dun really like the dessert because it is too sour but I dun think so. hee.

Something random after the food!
I wore my maxi dress for that night. :)
And, I look so whitish here. -_-

Topping up his cashcard again. >.<

If you see these 2 names, you knew its his car.

*Xiu*

*Hwa*

Happy 21st Anniversary my dear!
Love youuuu.

Looking forward to the trip with you together with my bro&mum.
We shall go there shop & eat, shop & eat!
So we better control our diet now first ar.. Then come back diet again. LOL.

Ok, my dear boy has gone for his work (night shift). And Im here in my room, blogging & at the same time watching Superband(final episode). I dun watch every single episode of that but it seemed that there aren’t any nice shows on a Sunday night. Hmm..

Anyway, I really pei fu these Superband participants. At such a young age, they’re really brave enough to participate in such a competition and not only that, they sing quite well? (100% better than me. Becos, I don’t sing at all! Lol)

For the past 2 weeks; ever since my dear boy determined to lose some weights, we have been going to gym almost twice a week plus jogging at ECP/my house area for the other days. Diet wise, salad/cereals/soupy stuffs for our meals too. Of cos we are not that obsess in weight losing, we still eat abit of carbo (like digestive biscuits, noodles, er.. I ate dark chocolate too. Hee) Not only wanting to lose some weights, we’re training hard for our 10km passion run too. (Most likely, we gonna register that) For me, I kinda worried. Its my first time to participate in such a long distance run. I remembered I participated a 6km run and I thought that’s already killing me. Duhz.
I dun expect much - like complete the run in an hour la, etc. I just wish to complete the run and not to give up half way!
I shall Gambette ne! haha! Train hard for the run!

Partly because of the run (I think my old puma shoe is not that suitable for long distance run, maybe more suitable for walking/trekking?), I then bought a new Mizuno Running shoe at Tampines 1 – running lab. (Already wore it for gyming today and indeed its more comfortable :))
Ya, We went to the new Tampines 1 on Saturday. And I tell you. The mall is crowded like, with hundreds of people! -_- You got to queue about 30mins to get into the only one store in Singapore – Uniqlo. Crazy eh. Worse than queuing to get in to LV store at Taka. Duhz. And I only bought a yellow cardigan from that store & none for my dear boy. Pardon us, we don’t think their tees are that appealing. Hmm..

They have more food outlets there, like Sushi tei, subway, FISH (by fish & co), bakerinz, secret recipe, etc. And, other town type-clothing’s shops like Topshop and Dorothy perkins, etc. Overall, ok la. Quite a nice place to shop. We’ll go back again (but maybe in few weeks later, till the crowds are not that Overwhelming? hee)

--
On our Good Friday, we met up with my gfs+their partners for cycling/blading. Luckily, the rain stopped later else we got to cancel the outing. We shall organize another outing soon ar! hee.

Ok, I shall stop here.
Weekends seemed to pass so fast & its AGAIN! Its Monday tomorrow.. (BOOOO!!!)

Hereby, wanna to say..

Keep it up my dear boy!
You can do it!

Well, I can sense that he's determined to lose those fats and get rid of that ugly 'tyres' of his NOW.
He been going to gym since saturday and controlling his diet. Hopefully, he can succeed and look good as before! At least, keeping in acceptable weight can improve one's health as well :)

I too, been going jogging after my work for these few days.

Ok, We shall work hard & train well.
Hopefully, we can join some/a run for this yr!Woohoo!
